Go to notion.so → Sign up free (Google or email). The free plan includes unlimited pages, basic AI (limited responses/month), and 10 guests.

Verify AI is active: open any new page → press Space on a blank line. You should see an AI menu pop up with options like: Continue writing, Summarize, Translate, Fix grammar, Create action items. If you don't see this, go to Settings → Workspace → Notion AI → enable.

Press Cmd/Ctrl + N → name your page Product Launch — [Product Name].

Press SpaceDraft with AI → type this brief:
Create a complete project planning workspace for a product launch. Automate your meeting notes workflow

This single workflow saves most teams 15-20 minutes per meeting. Create a new page: Meeting Notes — [Date].

Set up AI Autofill across your content database

Go to any Notion database → click + Add propertyAI Autofill.

In the AI Autofill configuration panel, write what you want AI to generate for each row. For a content database, add these three AI properties:

1. AI Summary: Summarize this content brief in 60 words for team reference. Include the main topic, target audience, and key message.

2. AI Keywords: Extract the 5 most important SEO keywords from this content description. One per line. No explanations.

3. AI Readiness: Based on this content brief, is it ready to write? Answer with exactly one word: Ready, Incomplete, or Unclear. If Incomplete, add a parenthetical with what is missing.

Click Fill all to populate every existing row. New rows auto-populate when created.

Use AI search to find knowledge across your workspace

Press Cmd/Ctrl + K to open universal search. Switch from keyword search to AI search by clicking Ask AI or typing a question instead of keywords:

What decisions did we make about the pricing model last quarter?
Find all pages related to user research from Q1 2026.
What action items from the last 5 meetings are still incomplete?

Notion AI searches every page in your workspace — not by keyword but by semantic meaning. It synthesizes information from multiple pages into a single structured answer.

You can also AI-filter any database: open a database view → click FilterAI filter → describe in plain English: Show tasks related to the mobile app that were created this month and are not yet completed.
